Sept pending home sales rise to highest level in 3 years

WASHINGTON (Reuters) - Pending sales of previously owned U.S. homes unexpectedly rose in September to their highest level in nearly three years

How many of those pending sales are actually being wholesaled by use of a contract for the end buyer before the contract with the bank for the short sale or REO? In other words could it be that each sale contract is only half of a sale and not 2 sales.
